| Description |
This product can detect the activity of total nitric oxide synthase in living cells. When used in conjunction with specific nitric oxide synthase inhibitors, the activity of different types of nitric oxide synthase can also be detected. This kit provides a method for the detection of nitric oxide synthase activity in living cells by fluorescence under physiological conditions, without the use of radioisotopes as required by conventional methods. The kit uses DAF-FM DA (3-amino,4-aminomethyl-2',7'-difluorescein, diacetate), the latest generation of nitric oxide fluorescence detection probes that can penetrate cell membranes, to detect the amount of nitric oxide that can be catalyzed by nitric oxide synthase in the cell under conditions that provide sufficient substrate to detect the amount of nitric oxide that can be catalyzed by nitric oxide synthase. The activity of nitric oxide synthase was thus detected. |
