This product is a kit for detecting changes in extracellular oxygen consumption using a synthetic oxygen-specific fluorescent probe, R01. R01 is an oxygen-sensitive fluorescent probe whose fluorescence is quenched by O2 through molecular collisions with oxygen, with higher fluorescence intensity in the absence of oxygen and conversely lower fluorescence intensity in the presence of oxygen, so that the amount of fluorescent signal is inversely proportional to the amount of extracellular O2 in the sample, thus R01 can be This reaction of R01 with O2 is non-destructive and fully reversible, R01 is not cytotoxic, it is chemically stable, inert, water-soluble and cell-impermeable, and cannot pass through intact cell membranes.
