Methylation Sensitive Amplification Polymorphism (MSAP) is developed based on AFLP technology. As a commonly used molecular marker method, AFLP has been successfully applied to the study of mitochondrial genetic diversity, gene expression and regulation, classification and evolution, mitochondrial methylation, and genetic map construction. Creative Biogene provides MSAP to customers studying the mitochondrial genetic diversity, including the overall level of mitochondrial methylation of cytosine or the level of methylation in specific gene sequences.
